The South Circular is South West London’s freshest comedy night!

Sunday 3rd March

The South Circular is South West London’s newest comedy night! The best and freshest UK comedians will grace the stage at the historic Putney Arts Theatre.

With acts as seen on Comedy Central, BBC and Dave for just £10, this is a night not to be missed!

On this month:

Pravanya Pillay is a stand up comedian, writer and producer. Described by Funny Women as hilarious Pravanya delivers surreal, observational comedy from a unique perspective.

As a writer she has written for BBC Radio Wales on the sitcom  Beena & Amrit  and the sketch show  Welcome Strangers .

She is the co-host and producer of Party - a trans/non-binary/female comedy night described by LMAOnaise as the country s finest night and featured in The Guardian.

This summer Pravanya came joint-third in the prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny' competition.

Will Rowland is a comedian, actor and director. For his stand-up, Will has been a finalist in multiple comedy competitions including Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year, as well as acting in sketches for BBC Three and Pulped. As a director, Will has worked with a number of acts, including some of the best reviewed shows of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023.

Will is one half of the double act Crizards, whose two live shows Cowboys (2022) and This Means War (2023) attracted considerable critical acclaim. Crizards have appeared on Dave s Question Team, Sky News and the BBC- who filmed them singing a song to Gordon Ramsay (he didnt like it). They were shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award and runners up in the Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off competition.

Will Hall

Rising star Will Hall (seen on BBC Three and Channel 4) is fresh from his award nominated Edinburgh show ‘Mild Peril’ and bringing his 'electrically witty' (BroadwayBaby.com) stand-up to Putney!

Writer for Have I Got News For You and the News Quiz, BBC New Comedy Awards nominee, a pleasure to teach. 'Stand-out lines... reassuringly confident.' (Chortle.co.uk). 'Uninhibited... a natural on stage' (List). 'So sharp and funny' (David Sedaris). 'Let's you say, 'I saw him before he was big'.' (Radio Ha-Ha).
